inconsistent dropper formatting

NWP 2.0.1 public beta 2 on Snow Leopard 10.6.8

It seems that the dropper can add attributes in some cases and not others. For instance, I have some text I want to change that has italic (for the entire paragraph). The text I want to copy has a different font and no italic. When I select that second text and choose dropper, it picks up fine. But then when I apply it to the original text, sometimes the italic goes away and sometimes it stays in the text. Same is true for bold. I can see no rhyme or reason for it sticking or going away. Both sets of text have paragraph styles applied.

Is there something I am missing?

Hi Rich- it's hard to know from just a description, but if it's not behaving as you'd want/expect, let's take a look. Could you send me a file (or post it here) and note which which text locations don't behave as you expect? Thanks!
