I seem to remember in past versions it would list like “24 occurrences” (which makes sense). I have noticed for a while that when I do a Find on any document, it will say at the bottom of the Find window “1 occurrence.” However, I can look at the document and see at least 6 instances. While a short document that’s just a minor problem, but with that showing, you would have to click through the entire document to see how many instances there are of the “1 occurrence.”
So, is something strange happening in Nisus?

Re: Find only finds “1 occurrence”
Are you doing a "Find" or a "Find All"?
If you're just doing a single find (eg: Find Next), then the status message will always either be "found 1 occurrence" or "found no occurrences", regardless of how many occurrences there are in the whole document. Perhaps it would be more clear if it said "found next occurrence" instead of "1".
If you're doing a Find All, then you should see the total number of matches in the whole document, eg: "found 6 occurrences".

Re: Find only finds “1 occurrence”
Yeah, I understood, but I thought in previous incarnations, the Find Next would still list the total, but only highlighted the next one. Whereas Find All highlights all instances.
Please don’t tell me it is another sign of old age. Soon, I will begin to repeat myself. Soon, I will begin to repeat myself.
Thanks, Martin.

Re: Find only finds “1 occurrence”
I too remember that it would give the number of occurrences it found. But that was in versions before OSX.
