Zero-padded auto numbers
Zero-padded auto numbers
Just the other day I noted that Nisus has a numbering option Arabic (01,02,03,04). Am I correct that this is intended to create padded numbers? Unfortunately, this only seems to pad up to two digits.

Re: Zero-padded auto numbers
Hi Philip, that's correct- the "Arabic (01,02,03,04)" format does zero pad numbers, but only to two digits. That's how the number format is specified to operate (as per RTF), but I can see how it would be more useful if the user could choose how many digits were used.
Perhaps better yet, the format could detect the largest number in use and then automatically use the appropriate number of digits for the rest of the list, eg: if the number "100" or greater is used in the list, smaller numbers should appear as "001", "002", etc). I'll file an enhancement request, thanks!
