Nisus Writer Pro with OS 10.8

I am evaluating 10.8 but I now find that I cannot open any NWP documents. Am using 2.0.2

Many of the source documents are part of a book I am writing on liver transplantation and rejection.

Can anybody help?

You are not "evaluating" 10.8, you are testing it. Mountain Lion is not production software, it's still a Developer Preview release. I.e. a beta product, not ready for prime time, not guaranteed to work with existing application software, it's known to have many bugs. Bugs you are supposed to report to Apple so they can fix them before it's released to the public. Mountain Lion comes with no support (and a non-disclosure agreement that makes outside support difficult if not impossible). It's not something you are supposed to use for production work (like writing a book or academic paper for example). It's something you are supposed to install on non-critical, non-production, test hardware. For the purposes of testing only.

Do your Nisus documents open in another application, like TextEdit?
It may be that your LaunchServices database has been reset to default.

The problem reported here was actually a bug in OSX 10.8 itself. That said, there were some other NWP-specific issues with 10.8 that are addressed by Nisus Writer Pro 2.0.3.
