Hi folks,
I'm sorry if this is sort of a dumb question. But I'm new to Nisus and have spent some time learning how to use it. and am quite pleased. Suddenly lots of things in the tool area are greyed out and I can't it. I've spent about 90 minutes looking around and googling and can't find the answer. How can I restore the settings so I can align text properly and the like? Lots of those menus have things greyed out that were not greyed out a couple of hours ago. I guess I hit some button or combination of buttons by mistake?
thanks,
Jim

Re: Lots of items greyed out
Hi Jim- that sounds odd to me. We don't really have any kind of feature that would disable menu commands, palettes, etc.
Could you try restarting Nisus Writer to see if the menus are re-enabled? After relaunching, let us know what happens. Whether the problem is fixed or not, could you please send in a feedback report via the menu Help > Send Feedback after relaunching? We can look through the collected logs and see if we spot the cause. Thank you.

Re: Lots of items greyed out
I figured out what I did wrong.
In the sidebar menu under the text section the had somehow closed the material that falls under "paragraphs" and managed to open the settings that fall under "lists". Since I am new to the software I did not notice this. So I reopened "paragraph" and all the settings I thought had been greyed out returned.
