Forum login does not return me to the clicked comment

Is there a way to allow this forum to keep me checked in longer? It throws me out on a daily basis, unlike Google Webmaster which keeps me logged in indefinitely.

When I'm informed about a comment by email and click on it, I'm not logged in. But when I click login then it does NOT return me to the comment. So I have to go back to the email and click the link again to get to it...

I am permanently logged in here. Don’t even remember the last time I had to log in.

Thanks, exegete77, that suggests there's an interface problem between my browser: latest Firefox ESR 10.0.11 and the Nisus Forum. Maybe I should give it a try in Safari.

When you login, make sure to click the checkbox next to the "Login" button:

I don't know why phpbb doesn't label that checkbox, but turning it on means that you wish to stay logged in.

Thanks Martin, I use 1Password to login, and so I normally never get to see that box. it's now been checked and let's hope it resolves the issue...

Hi,

I just tried to reload this page, and yet again it said I was not logged in. So I've just had to log in again. Obviously, the browser has stayed up during the overnight sleep, it has not been restarted.

So checking that box has not worked for me...

fyi. The legend at the bottom says: "Users browsing this forum: No registered users and 1 guest". So although I'm logged in, it doesn't seem to recognize me.
