Can I place one LiveObject in front of another?

Yes. Switch to the graphics layer by clicking on the button, or choose the menu item Tools:Display:Graphics Bar. On the graphics layer there is an additional menu titled Graphics. In that menu you can choose Bring to Front, Send to Back, Duplicate, Nudge menus and the Snap to Grid option with selected Live Objects. As of 5.0.1, the other items are not supported with Live Objects.
