Efficiency/Workflow: Make Tracked Changes' text selectable

Just now, I've found myself wanting to reuse a snippet from within text I had edited out.
I didn't want to undo the whole change I had made to that section, but sort of to partially reverse it by copy-pasting from the Changes pane.
So I think it would be useful to have that text selectable.

I agree, but you can get partway there: In OS X 10.7.5, you can copy a change from the Changes Pane with a double tap, or the mouse-equivalent. You have to copy everything, so keep an empty document handy as a scratch pad.

This might be the same workaround Steve suggested, but you can right-click any tracked change in the pane running alongside the document area and use the contextual menu's "Copy" command. It too only allows copying the whole change's content at once, but it's better than nothing.

An often forgotten feature of Nisus is that you can edit the clipboard. So you really don't need to keep an empty document as a scratch pad.
