Full Screen Mode does not respect preferences

Post by marknigro »

Hi, I'm unable to get Nisus (version 2.0.7) to respect the settings in preferences for Full Screen Mode. The text, page and background color remain exactly the same as in Page View, however they are set to "Green Text" and "Black Page" color with "Black Background." Am I missing something?

Did you go to Preferences > Appearance > Document Views > Full screen background, and did you then click on the small square on the right to change the color?

Yes, I manually selected the color for each item I wanted, text, background, gutter, caret. Fullscreen behaves like the native fullscreen in Yosemite. The size of the main window enlarges and the upper task bar with menus goes away. That's all that changes.

I'm sorry, I haven't yet moved to Yosemite, so I don't know how the native fullscreen in Yosemite looks like.

Any issues with fullscreen in other applications?

OK, I've got it now. You must be in Draft View for this to work. Switch to Draft View and then enter Full Screen.

Hope this helps.
