Argh. Comment in NWP visible in Word?

Post by GMB »

Help will be most appreciated!

I'm a prof, and just spent 1 /2 days providing detailed comments on students papers, saved the comments As in DOC format (because most students use Word), and now find that none of the comments are visible on Word. Comments appear again when I switch back to RTF, thank goodness.

I've tried exporting to PDF, but the comments and highlights don't show up there either.

How can I use NWP to comment on student work and make sure that they can read the comments, even if they don't have NWP?

Thanks in advance,

Sincerely frustrated

Instead of Save As..., use the File:Export As... menu, and in the Export As... dialog pane apply 'Microsoft Word Format (binary .doc)' file format:

If you want NWP Comments to appear in PDF, use the Print command. Then, in the print dialog, check 'Include comments in PDF as annotations' and 'Save As PDF...'

Thank you, shukran, Hamid!

This morning I updated my NWP. And then I followed your instructions. Both options work!

I'm not sure what was happening yesterday, but many thanks. You've made my day.
