Is there any way to place a footnote reference within a footnote ? Or even a footnote to a footnote to a footnote ? When I try to Insert within the body of a footnote, "Footnote" is not available.
If, as I assume, this is not currently possible, I would like to request it as a feature.

It is possible to place a footnote reference within a footnote text as a cross reference. For example, in footnote text you can have: "See footnote 32 above.", in which "32" is an automatic number which refers to footnote number 32 in the same document; if more footnotes are added and "32" becomes "35" then the same change will be reflected: "See footnote 35 above."
To obtain this, in the Cross Reference pane, "Insert Reference to:" popup will be "Footnote", and "Display Text:" popup will be "Note Number".
It is not possible to insert a footnote within footnote text.
