Save As dialog rolls up unexpectedly

If I choose "Save As" and then switch to another program, when I go back to Nisus, the save dialog rolls up unexpectedly. Every other program I use keeps the save dialog open. I use Default Folder, and often it is easier to find the folder I want to save in in the Finder, and then use Default Folder to indicate (by clicking on the folder in the save dialog) "Save it in this folder." This action works in every other program I have, except Nisus. Is this a bug or a feature?

I use Default Folder too (v.5.2.4). By me the save dialog remains open.

I don't use Default Folder, but I've seen this unexpected behavior with the Save dialog as well sometimes. It's definitely a bug, not a feature. It's something we'll have to investigate and see if we can get it fixed. I'm sorry for the nuisance.
