Changing starting page number
How can I change the starting page's number? I want it to start with a number greater than one.
Re: Changing starting page number
G’day, writerhoward et al
In the Section Palette, go to the Page Numbering bit and change the number in the “Restart At” field, then hit Return.
This seems to work even though “Restart At” and the checkbox are greyed out.
That field would probably be better named “Start At” because it’s clear from the Palette name that settings here relate to the Section containing the insertion point, rather than to the document as a whole.
Cheers,
Adrian

Thanks Adrian.
I agree with "That field would probably be better named “Start At.”
It is also confusing that you can change it despite the fact that "Restart at" is grayed out.

Re: Changing starting page number
This question has come up before, so it's something we'll probably improve in the future. I'm sorry for the confusion, but thanks to Adrian for explaining the situation.
