I just upgraded to Catalina.
Is there any way to make new documents open in windows that fill the screen? Is this a Nisus setting, or an OS X setting?
I like to see just one document at a time, and it's annoying to have to re-size every time.
Thanks in advance!
Eric
New document window size
Re: New document window size
G’day, Eric et al
I’m not sure how things go under Catalina, but in Nisus Writer Pro under Mojave you can use View > Full Screen. There is an existing keyboard shortcut for that command.
Another possibility is to adjust the window size of a Nisus New File document so it fills the screen (apart from the main menu bar at the top), then save it as the New File template.
Nisus Writer Pro > Preferences > New File > Advanced > Open for Editing…
Make your adjustments, then Save the file.
Cheers,
Adrian

Re: New document window size
Adrian already replied with all the right info (thanks!), but I just wanted to help with the second suggestion, in case you decide to customize your template. Please see our FAQ topic on how to customize your New File template window.
