Changing my email

Hi there

I'm about to lose the email that I used when I originally purchased my copies of Nisus Writer Pro. Is that going to cause me any problems and, if so, how do I update Nisus the company? I can see that my software registration is under my own name rather than a userid or email, so I assume there won't be problem with the app itself.

Hello Trevor, and thanks for the question. The quick answer is that your copy of Nisus Writer (the app itself) doesn't care if your email address changes. It will continue to run using your existing license key however you entered it earlier. You don't need to make any changes.

However, you may still want to update your email address with us. Here's a few places to think about:

1. Although it's not necessary you can write us an email and let us know about your new email address. We can update our customer records so that tools like the automated license key lookup know about your new address.

2. If you subscribe to the Nisus Newsletter you'll need to unsubscribe your old email address, and then subscribe your new email address. Please be sure to complete the procedure by confirming the new address when you receive the opt-in email.

3. Since you post on this web forum, you'll need to change your user profile's email address in the user control panel.
