Nisus Writer Pro open Pages document as blank
Nisus Writer Pro open Pages document as blank
I tried to open a Pages document in Nisus Writer Pro, and the document opened as a blank, single page document. The actual document is 47 pages, no graphics. Any idea what the problem might be? Is it a Big Sur issue?

G'day, jlentini et al
Same thing happens with Mojave.
I think native Pages documents are a special format. If you export a Pages document to RTF format, you can then open it in Nisus Writer Pro.
Cheers,
Adrian

Re: Nisus Writer Pro open Pages document as blank
Apple Pages documents are indeed a proprietary format. Nisus Writer comes with a file converter that can import Pages files, but only a limited subset and the quality of the import can vary greatly.
As Adrian mentioned, you will likely see better results if you export the file using Pages. You might try both RTF and DOCX to see which one produces better results.
