I've been writing in NWP for a very long time. Recently I've begun using Grammarly to check my punctuation, spelling, and grammar. Grammarly can be used in many applications on the Mac, including Word, Pages, and Apple Mail. I would very much like to be able to use it in NWP. Apparently, Grammarly makes APIs available to developers.
If Grammarly is NOT currently available in NWP, I'd like to request that it be put on the development list.

Answering my own question! Turns out I had not installed the most recent version of Grammarly for Mac. When I did, it began showing up in Nisus Writer Pro as well as Pages, Word, and my browser and email apps.
