Yes, you should be able to install a different version of OSX without losing your personal files. It should be an option given to you during the installation process.

After installing 10.6.6 everything is working perfectly.

The problem is not Nisus but OS 10.6.7 and later. So I will wait until somebody has Lion + NWP + Arabic. If it works?

The problem has been resolved in Lion. All those Arabic fonts have been updated.
