When I search for two returns in a row (choosing the special character "Return" twice in the Find field then hitting the button "Next"), I get the endless beachball and have to force quit.
This happens when I do it in a new file or an existing file, and it doesn't matter whether it is a saved or unsaved file. Can anyone reproduce it? Any suggestions?
Mac OS 10.4.10
NWP 1.01

Hi Brooke,
This is indeed a bug in PowerFind that was introduced in NWP 1.0.1. The problem can be triggered whenever two of the same PowerFind bubbles (eg: "Return") are placed directly next to one another.
We will have this issue fixed in the next update we release, but in the meantime here are some workarounds:
1. Instead of using the gear menu to insert the second bubble, copy-paste the first one.
2. Instead of using two of the same bubble, use the menu Repeat # > N Times to specify that you want to find two of the preceding bubble.
I hope that helps.
