Locking up
Big problem. I imported a 127 page document from Scrivener and have been editing it. Suddenly it freezes, all the text after the bit I last tried to edit disappears. There's no cursor or anything, and nothing happens when I hit any keys. I close Nisus and reopen. The text is there, not amended at the point it froze. I try to edit it again. It freezes again. And again. Eventually I reimported it to Scrivener and then exported it again to Nisus, into a new file. OK so far. But I can't seriously work like that. It has happened a couple of time before. Any suggestions, please.

I take it you export from Scriv as .rtf and then use Nisus to open the resulting file. Have you tried importing into Word? (Washes mouth outjennydiski wrote:Big problem. I imported a 127 page document from Scrivener and have been editing it. Suddenly it freezes, .......

I would export your file from Scriv and send it to support@nisus.com with an explanation of what happens. They're usually pretty good on following up bug reports.
You could also try asking on Lit/Latte and see if anyone else is having similar problems.
Sorry I can't be more helpful.
PS: I've just noticed Keith has released Beta 1.12, so it might be worth asking if there are any changes to the RTF export.
History is a nightmare from which I am trying to escape.
