OT Home made fonts

Slighty OT, but the problem is specifically to do with NWP.
I'm currently experimenting creating some fonts using FontForge under X11 on a mac. I generated a font which works perfectly in TextEdit, but when I try it in NWP the space bar doesn't work . In photoshop I get a rectangle icon for each space. I know its a long shot but I wondered if anyone might know why the space doesn't work in NWP when it does work in TextEdit.

Offhand I don't have any idea- no doubt there's someone on the forum here who knows of such things. But if you send us the font via the menu Help > Send Feedback I can take a look and see what the problem might be.

Thanks Martin, I solved it. Rather stupidly, I accidentally set the space to nothing in FontForge. I'm not sure why it was working in Text Edit now
