Nisus is really fast with the latest update! Thanks a lot! It takes like 2/3 seconds on my 3.06Ghz Core Duo 9GB ram iMac to boot, and that's slower because I've a lot of fonts (which I plan to delete) on this computer. My laptop is the first aluminium model and it boots in 1 second there! Amazing job, people! Thank you very much!
PS: Hopefully it'll stay the same when I upgrade to ML.
PS1: Don't get bummed about the Apple Store, screw them.
Lightning-fast!
Re: Lightning-fast!
Just out of curiosity, Jester, how did you manage to have 9 GB of ram?
Cheers, Henry.

Re: Lightning-fast!
Thanks for the post Jester! We did work on making NWP launch quicker for the last update (version 2.0.4), so I'm very glad to hear that you're seeing the benefit.

No problem, Martin! It really is blazing-fast, only takes 2 seconds to boot 6 .rtf .martin wrote:Thanks for the post Jester! We did work on making NWP launch quicker for the last update (version 2.0.4), so I'm very glad to hear that you're seeing the benefit.
And honestly, Nisus is one of the few (and by few I mean like 5) programmes that actually make me stay with Mac and not fully move into Windows (which seems so much better than Apple nowadays) or Ubuntu.
