Hi
If I set the normal style to use old-style figures, header 1 to use lining (with all caps), and header 2 to use old-style (with small caps), saving and re-opening the document makes all styles use old-style figures, including header 1. I've tried this with a few fonts and it seems to be a problem across the board.
Could you have a look to see if this is just me please? I can send documents and PDF outputs if that would be useful.
Thanks and best wishes
Alex
Old style figures not persisting in styles
Re: Old style figures not persisting in styles
I cannot reproduce the problem you describe.
My style sheet looks like this: As you can see, Heading 1 is not based on Normal, and Heading 2 is not based on Heading 1.
Typography options for Old Style Figures and Lining are available in the font used and defined in the Style Sheet.

Hamid, you're a star! Thank you – this has been driving me berserk! Changing my settings so the Heading styles are based on 'None' works a charm.
