Differences between Mac App Store v. downloadable NWP?

Are there any differences between the Mac App Store version of Nisus Writer Pro and the version available for download from nisus.com?

Well, the downloadable version is 2.1.1, while the app store version seems to be stuck at version 2.0.7. See the discussion here.

How stupid of me not to have noticed. I was asking to understand if the 2.1.1 on the MAS and the 2.1.1 that is downloadable are different in any way. I will ask again when 2.1.1 is on the MAS. Thanks for responding.

The problems with the MAS are obviously very big - since April it is not possible to publish the new version in the MAS. Many users are still waiting.
