So, i'm translator. I've ti show in a table, left, the latin text, right the translated text.
So far, so good.
But it gets complicated if I want to insert a footnote.
While MS Word allows me to do it, Nisus, my Nisus, just like Pages, refuses it.
If I import a table annotated by Word in Nisus, the notes are erased.
Morality?
I can not work with Nisus: I do not think I'm the only one, because page notes or endnotes in a table are needed for any specific document.
So what solution?
table & footnote
Re: table & footnote
You say you can't work with Nisus, but then you ask for a solution…
It's obviously a failing on NWP's part that it can't do this, but let's assume you want to give it a try anyhow. The solution I can offer is to use "fake" footnotes. See here.
