Hi,
Is there a command for Go To Current Cursor Position?
(I ask because: When I Show the Comments column, add a comment, and then Hide Comments,
my text body often scrolls somewhere else in my doc! I need to manually relation to my cursor position. Sometimes.)
Thanks in advance,
- pbass
Go To Cursor
Re: Go To Cursor
You are asking for *two* commands here. Edit > Select > Previous Selection will take you to the previous position, and Edit > Select > Flash Selection will flash the current position.
I like 'Previous Selection' and 'Next Selection' because they enable us to jump back and forth in the document using Command "[" and Command "]" on the American keyboard.
PS
When I hide comments, the commented text in the document is highlighted, the cursor does not jump to another location.

Thanks, Þorvarður! That does the trick.
I'm curious about the characters in your name, and wonder if you are Icelandic?

Everything you always wanted to know about thorn (Þ), but were afraid to ask, you'll find here [*]:

[*] I couldn't resist. Yohanan was talking about Woody Allen in another thread here a few days ago.
Re: Go To Cursor
I have no time to respond, but I've already read that wiki about thorn! I am interested in the similarity between early 'Old English', and the Icelandic language – not so far apart!
Also, my sister is crazy about Iceland, and has visited many times.
