Original macros?

Post by KimTwemlow » 2007-08-15 04:12:19

This is embarrassing ...

Being a neat freak, I deleted the original macros that came with NWP on the grounds that I would "never need them". Well, guess what?!

I seem to recall there a few for fiddling with tables and I'm badly stuck on that front. Is there anywhere I can download them from again?

TIA

Restore default macros

Post by Hamid » 2007-08-15 05:19:48

1 Quit NWP if it is running.
2 Drag the 'Macros' folder out from your ~/Library/Application Support/Nisus Writer on to the Desktop.
3 Launch NWP.
A Marcos folder with the default macros will be recreated in the same location.
4 Move into this new Macros folder your own macros from the old Macros folder.

Thanks for replying Hamid. A new Macros folder was created OK - but it's empty.

Restore default macros

Post by Hamid » 2007-08-15 10:19:50

In that case:
1 Quit NWP if it is running.
2 Drag the 'Nisus Writer' folder out from your ~/Library/Application Support on to the Desktop.
3 Launch NWP.
A new Nisus Writer folder with a Macros folder containing the default macros will be recreated in the same location.
4 Move into this new Nisus Writer folder resources from the corresponding locations of the old Nisus Writer folder.

I've placed a copy online of all the default macros in case anyone else wants them.
